The Professional Beauty London Nail Competition 2023: Meet the winners
The Professional Beauty Nail Competition 2023 saw students, nail professionals and educators compete at Pro Beauty London at ExCel to be crowned as some of the most talented nail techs to watch in the industry.
For the fourth year running, Professional Beauty collaborated with The Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP) to host the prestigious Nail Competition, with eight thrilling categories – from gel-polish and salon enhancements to artistic expression in the catwalk and Insta nail categories.
The competition took place over both days of the show (March 5–6) and those with the most points across the categories were named Student of the Year and Nail Professional of the Year.
"This year broke records for the most competitors at an FNP-hosted PB London nail competition," said founder of the FNP and nail industry veteran Marian Newman ahead of the winner announcements. 2023 saw 170 nail lovers put their skills to the test... "[Entering competitions] is a really important step! As the wonderful Kirsty Meakin has said, she wouldn't be where she was today if it wasn't for competitions," Newman continued.
Note: some categories were separated into two sections – one for professionals and another for students to compete.
