Professional Beauty has chosen Wellbeing of Women, an organisation dedicated to improving the health of women and babies, as its partner charity for 2013.
Professional Beauty will be raising money for Wellbeing of Women through a range of activities throughout the year, starting with an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous spray tans in a single location at the PB show on February 25 at ExCeL London.
Professional Beauty managing director Mark Moloney said: “We’re proud to be partnering Wellbeing of Women during 2013. The charity is an extremely hard working one that particularly resonates with our industry, its workforce and client base.”
Wellbeing of Women aims to enable major breakthroughs in obstetrics and gynaecology and invests in special research projects and allocates funds towards the training of specialist doctors and midwives.
Wellbeing of Women ambassador and dancer Aliona Vilani, who has starred on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With the Stars, will open the Professional Beauty London show later this month.
In addition to a busy show floor, Professional Beauty London also includes a diverse and content-filled training and development programme, as well as the Professional Spa & Wellness Convention.
