What is the background of the company and what type of products do you offer?
The International Institute for Anti-Ageing (iiaa) is the umbrella company for Advanced Nutrition Programme skincare supplements, Environ Skin Care and Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics in the UK and Ireland.
David Alpert founded the iiaa in 1994 and since then we’ve grown from strength to strength. Constant innovation has kept us firmly at the forefront of the industry, with the dual values of results and integrity running right to our core.
Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their salons?
We offer an extensive range of services specifically designed to support and help our stockists promote and sell our brands. These include in-salon skin analysis events where one of our fully trained skin experts will analyse clients skin using state of the art Visia skin imaging equipment and then recommend a programme of products and treatments suited to deliver maximum results. We also offer in-salon makeover events which help to boost makeup sales. These services are free of charge and salons can utilize them as often as they like.
We believe in arming therapists with the skills and knowledge they need to deliver great results. For this reason we have 5 fully equipped training centres across the country offering a diverse range of training courses and seminars in all our brands as well as other informative courses such as how to consult with confidence.
What makes your products special over the competition?
The iiaa was founded on the philosophy of teaching beauty therapists how to achieve real, measurable results for their clients. We believe in a 3 pronged approach:
Feed – feeding the skin from the inside with essential vitamins and nutrients.
Fortify – fortifying the skin from the outside with active vitamins in the right doses.
Finish – finishing the skin with pure mineral make up to enhance and protect
Individually each brand is based on sound scientific research as well as many years of clinical studies and will deliver significant results. When combined, therapists are able to achieve previously unobtainable changes to their clients skins. We pride ourselves on our integrity and are proud to be associated with the best brands in the world.

If they want substance over hype and true science over marketing gimmicks then salon owners should be making their way to our stand. We can show them how to help their clients achieve younger, beautiful, healthy and blemish free skin.
Visitors can have their skin analysed for free and can also enjoy a complimentary mini-makeover. We’re also doing live treatment and makeup demonstrations along with special show offers and new products from jane iredale mineral cosmetics and the Advanced Nutrition Programme.

Please tell us about any forthcoming product launches.
In November we are launching an exciting ground breaking product from Environ called Revival Masque. The brainchild of Dr Fernandes who wanted to develop a product that literally was like a “face lift in a bottle”, Revival Masque has been extensively trialed for over 4 years with a 99% satisfaction rate.
Revival Masque contains a combination of 3 acids which work together to stimulate the release of growth factors from the keratinocyte cells. This product will lighten pigmentation marks, reduce lines and wrinkles making skin tighter, smoother, more radiant and younger looking. Watch this space!
