Pure Spa & Beauty opens at Apex City of London Hotel
Day spa group Pure Spa & Beauty opens its eighth location today, at the Apex City of London Hotel in the city centre.
The spa, which is part of a £2 million renovation of the hotel, features five treatment rooms, and a sauna, relaxation area, and manicure/pedicure bar.
Managed by Pure as an impendent outlet, the spa is the second partnership between the day spa group and Apex Hotels.
There is already a Pure Spa & Beauty at the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel in Edinburgh, which opened in 2015. The opening of the spa at Apex City of London is Pure’s first outside of London. The spa opens with a spa team of 20, including management and therapist roles.
Pure Spa & Beauty founder Becky Woodhouse said: “Pure’s urban day spas offer effective quality treatments in convenient city centre locations, with long opening hours, a simple booking process and fair pricing.
“We are thrilled to be bringing our first Pure spa to London in partnership with the Apex Hotel group.”
Pure Spa & Beauty was set up 15 years ago. The company premise is “developing premium urban day spas for high street, hotel and shopping centre locations to meet the needs of busy city centre lifestyles”.
Brian Tapson, general manager at Apex City of London Hotel, commented: “We’re thrilled to bring a new spa facility to the capital.
“It represents the continuation of a partnership with Pure Spa & Beauty that began with Apex Waterloo Place in Edinburgh, which has gone from strength to strength.”
