QHotels invests £1 million in Belton Woods spa
Hotel and spa group QHotels has announced a £1 million refurbishment at its Woods property in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
The investment reflects the group’s vision to position the spa as one of the area’s luxury spa destinations and create a more fluid spa journey for guests. It is open to residential, day spa and leisure guests.
£350,000 has been spent on refurbishing the spa facilities, with a full upgrade including an extension of the six existing treatment rooms to eight and new relaxation suite. Other additions are a dance studio and spa café to allow guests to dine in their robes in the spa area, separately from hotel guests.
The group is also building a dedicated spa reception and waiting area and new male and female changing facilities so spa guests can start and finish their journey in close proximity.
Work on the property developments is currently underway, and the new spa is due to open in August this year. A temporary pop-up spa is open in the meantime on the ground floor of the hotel.
Seamus Coen, general manager at Belton Woods, said: “Wellness is very much on the agenda at Belton Woods and we’re pleased that this investment will enable more of our guests to enjoy the experiences as well as providing our membership enhanced facilities.”
