Redesigned spa opens at the Turnberry Isle Miami resort
The renovated spa at the Turnberry Isle Miami resort, the Âme Spa & Wellness Collective, has opened its doors to the public.
The redesigned 2,044sq m spa features 22 treatment rooms, an ayurveda treatment area, a cryotherapy chamber and a wellness circuit incorporating water treatments, a Himalayan salt room and other heat facilities.
Other spa and wellness features include a yoga studio, spinning room, weight training and cardio studio, and a pilates room. The fitness centre offers more than 90 classes a week, including HIIT, spinning, pilates and yoga.
The redesigned spa, which forms part of a £2 million expansion of Turnberry Isle Miami, offers more than 70 treatments.
These include massages, aromatherapy treatments and colour therapy, as well as the Japanese iyashi dôme treatment, which uses infrared heat for detoxing effect, and an amethyst quartz massage.
The spa also offers an extensive selection of wellness retreats, including Saturday, weekend-long and four-day retreats.
The spa works with a selection of well known experts that span the wellness spectrum on the retreats, indulging yoga teacher Nikki Costello who will lead four retreats this year, and nutritionist Amy Shapiro, who will host three retreats.
Among other leading practitioners working with Âme are Dr Susan Pilossoph, Dr Craig Tanio, Dr Yoav Suprun and Dr David Wexler from Healthcare provider Rezilir Health.
The Rezilir Health clinicians will be involved both in ongoing programmes and shorter retreats at the spa.
Jackie Soffer, chief executive and co-chairman of Turnberry Associates, said: “Turnberry Associates is proud to bring the Âme Spa & Wellness Collective to Turnberry Isle Miami.
The spa is holistic and immersive, allowing guests to have profound experiences that create lasting changes.”
