Saks announces winners of annual Awards
Saks Halifax (pictured) has been named Beauty Salon of the Year in the annual Saks Awards. The national chain of hair and beauty salons recognised the achievements of its salons and individual employees in 19 categories, as part of the annual event.
Beauty therapists and business were highlighted for their skills and business successes throughout 2014, including Melissa Gil, therapist at Saks Halifax (pictured: second from left), who was given the Therapist Achievement Award.
The Beauty Apprentice Award went to Taylor Brock, of Saks West Bridgford. Saks Kings Hill picked up the title of Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year as well as Franchisee of the Year. The salon last year won the accolade of Employer of the Year – 20 Employees or Fewer at the Professional Award.
Stephen Kee, managing director of Saks, said, “Our salons have yet again surpassed our expectations with the quality of their entries and enthusiasm for getting involved, and we’ve had a tough time selecting our winners.
“2015 is another great milestone year at Saks as we’re celebrating 20 years of our Saks Beauty concept.”
