Sisley spa opens at Malaga’s Gran Hotel Miramar

A Botanical Spa by Sisley has opened at the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga, as part of the property’s £58 million revamp. 

The refurbished and rebranded spa spans two floors and comprises six single treatment rooms and a VIP treatment room where champagne and fresh juice is served. 

Other features at the spa, which has undergone a £1.1m renovation as part of the refurb of the property as a whole, include a thermal area with a hammam, Finnish sauna, ice fountain, whirlpool and experience showers. 

There is also a relaxation area with heated stone loungers, among other features.

Drawing on the region’s Moorish heritage, the spa blends results-driven contemporary treatments from French skincare brand Sisley with rituals inspired by North African and Middle Eastern traditions.

Signature treatments include Sisley’s reviving 50-minute Expert Phyto-Aromatic Facial and the brightening and energising Phyto-Aromatic Supreme Anti-Ageing Facial – an 80-minute treatment.

Also on the spa menu is the 80-minute Happiness Ritual, using fruit extract to firm and nurture skin and incorporating a body exfoliation, a massage and a facial. The indulgent two-hour Alhama Ritual features a hammam experience, including body exfoliation and massage.
