St Tropez creates app to let users bespoke their tans
St Tropez has launched a new tanning app to help customers find their perfect tanning products.
The St Tropez Tan Finder is a beauty diagnostic tool that helps users find a tan to suit their needs – whatever the occasion. Users are asked to answer three short, image-led questions and then based on the information provided, the algorithm recommends products appropriate for the desired look, along with a click-to-buy link.
The online web app features the brand’s entire range – from self tan to instant tan products – and also includes “How-to” videos to help customers achieve the look they want.
Sales of self tan are set to grow to 13% by 2018 and the brand believes education will be the key to this growth, as well as visual engagement on social media.
St Tropez worked with Haygarth, a creative agency, on the the app, which is available on the brand’s website.
