Stage set for Professional Beauty 2017

Leading trade show Professional Beauty returns to London next month, attracting around 800 brands and expected visitor numbers in excess of 30,000.

The largest beauty trade show in the UK and one of the top in Europe, Professional Beauty takes place at the ExCeL London exhibition centre on February 26-27.

The busy show, which attracts visitors ranging from mobile therapists and owner/operators to large-scale spas, features a packed two days of new launches, seminars, conferences, networking and competitions.

The show floor covers the breadth of beauty and spa; from skincare, organic and natural, beauty equipment and advanced skincare, to nails, makeup, tanning, brows and lashes.

Among the many exhibitors are Babor, Caci, Comfort Zone, Decléor, Dermalogica, Elemis, Heaven, distributor iiaa with brands Jane Iredale, Environ and Advanced Nutrition Programme, Guinot, Oakdale, REM, Simon Jersey, Thalgo and Voya, and many others. 

The show also features an extensive education offering, including the World Spa & Wellness Convention, the International Manufacturers & Distributors Forum (IMF) and the Education Forum, where UK beauty employers and education providers come together.

There is also a wide range of seminar programmes, from Business, Nail and Salon Skills, to Nutrition and the live stage programme for Advanced Therapists.

The education offering also comprises How To workshops on a variety of topics and four live stages. The Professional Beauty competitions return in 2017.

The International Nail Championships and the Warpaint Makeup Championships see honours awarded to some of the best practitioners in the fields, across a selection of creative categories.
