Student therapists called upon to demonstrate electrotherapy talent
Entries are now open for the Student Electrotherapy Beauty Therapist Award 2014. The competition, which aims to champion emerging talent in facial electrotherapy, is open to all students studying for NVQ Level 3 or above.
The award is sponsored by Carlton Professional and recognises not only the outstanding students, but their college and lecturer as well. Student of the Year winner of SEBTA 2013, Suzi Bamford, said, “Winning has truly inspired me. It has boosted my confidence and given me a real direction to my career in beauty therapy. The whole experience has been fantastic and I feel honoured to have been involved.”
Prizes for the award winner include £500 and a Carlton Professional Ultraderm machine for the winning student, £250 for the supporting lecturer and £1000 redeemable against Carlton Professional product for the winning college.
Students interested in entering can do so via SEBTA’s website. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in June.
