The Training Room to open academy in Birmingham next month

UK-based spa and beauty provider The Training Room is opening a new academy in Birmingham next month, the company has announced.

The new Training Room facility will span 465 square metres and have the capacity to house 30 students at any one time.

The Training Room explained that it was opening the new academy in the heart of Birmingham to “cater for a rapid increase in students from the Midlands”.

The new training centre will offer a wide range of spa, beauty and wellbeing courses, including massage therapy, nail technology and Lava Shell diplomas.

Among other fully accredited courses at the Birmingham facility will be the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, and the Jennifer Young Oncology Face & Body Post-Graduate Diploma.

Once open, the Birmingham academy will become The Training Room’s largest in the UK. The business already operates a range of spa and beauty training academies across the UK; in London, Liverpool, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester and Poole.

To allow for flexible learning, The Training Room offers both full time and part time study options. The company also provides on-going support to graduates after they leave, for up to three years after enrolling on their course.

The Training Room, which launched in 2006 as an education provider for the UK fitness industry, also offers courses and diplomas for the health, IT and social care sectors.
