Tomoka Nguyen appointed vice president of Wellness by The Legian

Tomoka Nguyen, former director of Espa at Resorts World Sentosa has been appointed vice president of Wellness by The Legian.
The spa and wellness concept from newly launched luxury hospitality and lifestyle company Legian Hotel Management (LHM) chose Nguyen for the role owing to her expertise and experience in the Asian wellness industry.
LHM was developed to oversee and develop The Legian Seminyak in Bali and upcoming The Legian Sire, due to open in Lombok in early 2019. Nguyen will be responsible for spa, beauty and wellness under Wellness by The Legian, which will incorporate treatments inspired by Asian spa traditions, nutrition, fitness and personalised programmes put together by “wellness concierges”.
The Legian Sire, Lombok will feature an interactive Apothecary Bar where therapists will blend oils, infusions, poultices and compresses; and a Juice Bar serving fruit juices harvested from the property’s organic farm.
There will also be a Technogym fitness offer, daily mindfulness, affirmation and visualisation sessions and various visiting consultants and practitioners.
Commenting on her appointment Nguyen said: “I am thrilled to be joining the LHM team and to be launching a wellness concept that will deliver a highly personalised service to guests at one of the most renowned hotels in Indonesia - The Legian Seminyak, Bali, and at soon-to-open The Legian Sire, Lombok.
The Wellness by The Legian concept offers a wide range of experiences including spa, nutrition and fitness as well as off-site leisure activities that are all inspired by the cultural heritage of the destinations and incredible nature surrounding the LHM resorts. Our approach will be warm, bespoke and holistic - a true integration of wellness and hospitality.”
