Revealed: winners of IIAA’s Salon of the Year Awards 2019

12 beauty businesses took home top titles at the 2019 IIAA Salon of the Year Awards. 

The awards, run by IIAA (International Institute for Anti-Ageing), which distributes Environ skincare, Jane Iredale mineral make-up and Advanced Nutrition Programme supplements, celebrates the UK and Ireland’s most accomplished skincare professionals and salons. 

More than 150 professionals came together to watch special guest speaker Dr Adriana Marais, physicist, innovator and Mars One Project astronaut candidate, open the event at the Kimpton Fitzroy Grand Ballroom in London. 

“The Salon of the Year is a very special event which this year, more than any other, sees a vision of enabling skincare professionals to deliver the very best results for their clients as reality,” said David Alpert, IIAA co-founder and managing director. 

The winners of the 2019 IIAA Salon of the Year Awards are:

Salon of the Year, UK: Tessa Stevens Health and Beauty Clinic

Salon of the Year, Ireland: Monica Tolan’s Beauty Clinic 

Therapist of the Year: Louise Sumner 

The Salon of Excellence Award: 

o Platinum: Ro Skin 

o Gold: Rebecca Jade Beauty & Aesthetics 

o Silver: Blomstra 

o Bronze: High Maintenance

Small Business Game Changer, Ireland: Beauty Booth 

Large Business Game Changer, Ireland: The Skin Nerd 

Small Business Game Changer, UK: Nechelle Beauty 

 Large Business Game Changer, UK: Calm Health and Beauty 

 Best Newcomer of the Year for UK & Ireland: HM Beauty.
