Mantra Resort Spa & Casino in Uruguay has claimed the top spa honour at the World Travel Awards South & Central America Ceremony in Lima, Peru.
Other spa winners at the South and Central America leg of the World Travel Awards’ global event tour were Charming Luxury Lodge & Private Spa, which won Argentina’s leading spa resort, Kurhotel − Longevity Medical Centre and Spa – named Brazil’s leading spa resort and Tierra Atacama, which took home the Chile’s leading spa resort honour.
Arasha Tropical Forest Resort & Spa claimed the title of Ecuador’s leading spa resort and also took home the Ecuador’s leading resort and South America’s leading resort honours. Meanwhile, the Sheraton Colonia Golf & Spa Resort was named Uruguay’s leading spa resort.
The next date on the global World Travel Awards event tour is the Europe gala ceremony in Antalya, Turkey, on August 31.
