SS17 nail art tutorial – fine lines

In the second of our spring/summer nail art tutorials, Salon System nail technician Karen Louise shows us how to create a wearable fine-line look – inspired by the graphic lines seen on both the Marta Jakubowski and Markus Lupfer LFW SS17 catwalks.

In our video, Louise uses a sky blue and bright pink to create the look, saying, “If you’re doing this sort of look in the salon, make sure you go with two contrasting colours so the stripes really pop against the base colour.”

When creating the look, think pared-back styles with a super-fine edge using sharp parallel lines. A striper brush will ensure you get the detail right.
