Maybourne, owner of renowned hotels including Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley, is set to open a wellness club in London in April.
Surrenne will open in Knightsbridge and is billed as a wellbeing and longevity members’ club that will offer a holistic approach to emotional wellbeing, and physical health based on evidence-based protocols.
The space is being designed by renowned architectural designer Remi Tessier and is set over four floors, and nearly 2,000 square metres.
Features will includea modern 22m swimming pool, complete with sound system for in-water meditation, plus spaces to host indoor and outdoor fitness classes as well as wild swimming, given its location opposite Hyde Park.
Surrenne will also be home to the Longevity Clinic in partnership with tech health brand Virtusan.
The scientific advisory board at Surrenne includes Dr Andrew Huberman of the Huberman lab, Dr David Sinclair, author of Lifespan, and Dr Shauna Shapiro, who will offer members and hotel guests evidence-based methodologies, and diagnostics
backed by neuroscience. Together they have created longevity and fitness protocols.
Conceptualised by Inge Theron, creative director of spa and wellness design for Maybourne, Surrenne will also host wellness practitioners including a studio from fitness expert Tracy Anderson and signature facials with surgeon Dr Lara Devgan.
There will also be a micronutrient-rich menu designed by nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson in Surrenne Café.
The treatment menu of multi-sensory experiences will comprise signature dry and wet body treatments from around the world and facials performed by a team of skilled therapists.
Guests of London hotels The Berkeley and The Emory will receive complimentary access to Surrenne as part of their stay at the hotels.
