The first week of Coachella 2026, set the tone for this summer’s beauty trends and inspiration – with the resurgence of bold eyes and gothic glam.
Whilst Coachella is notorious for its star-studded lineups, for influencers and celebrities, the beauty and fashion is the focus of the weekend.
We’ve rounded up some of the standout dessert looks that stole the spotlight from the leading lineup.
Bold eyes are back
Whilst the clean girl aesthetic has dominated beauty trends in recent years, if there’s one weekend for bold and colourful makeup, it’s Coachella.
Headliner Katseye took to the stage on Friday and aside from their performance, their eye-catching makeup stole the show.
Makeup artist Jordan Giang, shared Megan Mei-Yok Skiendiel’s look on her Instagram. The standout feature across the girlband was the dramatic smoky and bold eyeliner, blended across the bottom lashline, complemented by an intense black waterline.
Desert glow
Coachella’s take on the clean girl aesthetic led more into a desert glow, with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber and Pink Pantheress leaning into the bronzed and lived-in glow.
This style, as seen on Pink Pantheress, by makeup artist Julian Stoller, is the ultimate your skin but better – ideal for a day-to night desert look that survives the heat.
Gothic glam
Contrasting with the bright blush and glistening skin, Addison Rae confirmed that goth is back – and it’s for everyone.
Addison is known for her Y2K style, but her performance on Saturday showcased the versatility of gothic glam.
Her look, created by makeup artist Jenna Kuchera, featured a smoky glittery eye, with a silver halo effect across the lower lash line.
Complemented with her signature, pop princess style, and blinding raspberry blush hitting the highpoints.
Floral manicures
Despite what Miranda Priestley said in The Devil Wears Prada, florals for spring are definitely groundbreaking, if Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner’s Coachella manicures are anything to go by.

To add some maximalism to their otherwise minimalist beauty looks, both Kylie and Hailey showcased bold florals.
