The best makeup looks from the Baftas 2026

Updated on 24th Feb 2026

On 22 February, the Baftas returned to our screens in a celebration of film, fashion and flawless beauty. As always, the red carpet delivered a masterclass in modern glam – from glowing, skin-first finishes to sculpted blush and softly smoked liner

Here, Professional Beauty breaks down the standout makeup looks from the Baftas 2026 and the artists behind them.

Sadie Sink – Makeup by Emma Day

Wearing a sage green Prada dress, actress Sadie Sink embodied effortless elegance with soft, glowing skin and minimal, modern makeup.

Makeup artist Emma Day focused on radiant skin prep to create a lit-from-within finish, using Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Water Cream, Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, Cryo-Recovery Eye Serum and Glow Toner to hydrate and illuminate the complexion.

The final look was fresh and refined, enhancing Sink’s natural features with a lightweight base, liquid highlighter for subtle luminosity and a cream blush to add a healthy flush.

A kohl brown eyeliner was softly diffused into a delicate wing, delivering definition without overpowering the skin-first approach.

Maura Higgins – Makeup by Suzy Clarke

Wearing a striking red gown by Andrea Brocca, presenter and social media personality Higgins channelled classic Hollywood glamour on the Baftas red carpet.

The bold silhouette set the tone for a timeless beauty look that balanced soft definition with radiant colour.

Makeup artist Clarke created a soft smoky eye, pairing blended shadow with an ever-so-lightly diffused black winged liner for subtle drama.

The true focal point, however, was the blush: a luminous cool pink shade that sculpted and enhanced Higgins’ high cheekbones.

A pink-toned nude lipstick completed the look, harmonising with the statement blush and red gown for a cohesive, red carpet-ready finish.

The result was a refined take on classic Hollywood makeup, combining glowing skin, soft smoky eyes and sculpted blush for maximum impact.

Leomie Anderson – Makeup by Christel K

Glow Up presenter Anderson wowed at the Baftas in a sheer white gown by David Koma, which created the perfect canvas for a makeup look that was elevated with strategic pops of colour.

The standout feature was a vibrant pink blush, swept generously across the cheeks to create a lifted, radiant flush. The bold yet wearable blush placement added warmth and dimension, preventing the monochrome look from feeling flat under the lights.

For the eyes, a smoked-out black winged liner brought soft drama, diffused for a modern finish rather than sharp definition. Creamy white eyeshadow echoed the tone of the gown, brightening the lids and tying the entire look together seamlessly.

A classic nude lip completed the look, balancing the statement blush and smoky liner while keeping the overall aesthetic polished and red carpet-ready.

Rose Byrne – Makeup by James Molloy

Molloy took to Instagram to discuss the look he created for actress Byrne at the Baftas, sharing, “We wanted the skin to be fresh, warm and effortless. The focus was soft definition and glow, keeping everything modern and refined without overworking it.”

The skin was then paired with a richly toned wrap-around blended eye, and a soft peachy lip.

Molloly revealed that he used products from Lisa Eldridge to create the look, finishing it off with soft, wispy lashes from Lashify.
