Fairmont Hangzhou to open in China in 2017

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the 2017 opening of its fifth property in the Chinese market, the Fairmont Hangzhou.
The hotel, located in the Yangtze River Delta region in eastern China, will feature 300 rooms and 180 serviced residences and incorporate a fitness centre and pool, a branch of in-house Fairmont spa brand Willow Stream Spa and five dining outlets. The property will also include 3,000sq m of meeting and banqueting space.
Jennifer Fox, president of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, said: "We continue to expand our footprint in China and are excited to be adding a hotel in a major domestic market like Hangzhou." The Fairmont Hangzhou will add to the 65 international properties that currently comprise Fairmont’s international property portfolio.
