This week’s big news includes an update from the London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) and Babtac for Level 4 learners affected by Sally Durant’s Training going into administration, and the UK Government announcing it will be banning plastic straws and cotton buds by April 2020

Oxberry also talks about her visit to the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday, where a report produced by the Hair & Barber Council, in partnership with Babtac, revealed that the beauty and hair industries now contribute £6.6 billion to the UK economy. Read the key stats from the report
