Professional Beauty London 2022 Make-Up Competition winners
Both learner and professional make-up artists had their brushes at the ready and put their skills to the test to be crowned winners at Professional Beauty London’s 2022 Make-Up Competition.
The competition, directed by leading MUA Lan Nguyen Grealis, saw make-up artists compete in five categories over two-days, each showcasing the skills it takes to become a top name in the industry.
On Sunday, April 3, MUAs competed across the categories Bodypainting – themed ‘’illusions and camouflage”; Film – themed “film noir”; and Editorial – where the looks were inspired by the late fashion designer Thierry Mugler.
On Monday, April 4, a further category was hosted – Bridal, which saw MUAs create mood boards and style there models from head to toe to compliment the look. The final category, Image Award, was based on the upcoming make-up trends for AW22 and this took place off the show floor.
The judges were impressed by the high standard, making it a tough decision to choose the winning looks.
