Work has begun on a £5 million spa development at the Boringdon Hall Hotel in Devon in the UK.

The 1,700sq m spa will feature 12 treatment rooms, heat facilities, a swimming pool, a thermal pool, a relaxation area and a gym. The build will also include a spa restaurant.

The spa, which will use its own brand of products, is expected to be completed in the spring of 2016.

Borringdon Hall is owned by the Nettleton Group, whose properties also include Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa and The Esplanade Hotel, both in Newquay, Cornwall.

Diane Nettleton, co-director of The Nettleton Group, said: “When we bought Boringdon Hall four years ago we had ambitions to create a spa and we are extremely excited to be putting that plan into action.”
