Carlton Beauty & Spa announces 2014 Sebta award winner

Jessica Jackson from Lowestoft College has been awarded the Student Electrotherapy Beauty Therapist Award 2014 sponsored by Carlton Beauty & Spa. 

The competition celebrates the best in facial electrotherapy and is open to all Level 3 students, offering them the chance to showcase their theoretical and practical electrotherapy skills.

Jackson (pictured left) was awarded £500, the Sebta 2014 trophy and a Carlton Professional Ultraderm machine. Second place went to Kirsten Dobie from Ayrshire College, while third place was awarded to Rachael Forsyth from Coleg Cambria.

On winning the award, Jackson said, “Entering Sebta 2014 was a fantastic opportunity, which enabled me to learn, develop and progress my knowledge and skills on a stage, which was extremely competitive.”

The winning lecturer, Natasha Creasy (pictured right) received £250 and Lowestoft College received a cheque for £1,000 as the winning college. 

The sixth annual Sebta awards hosted by Carlton Beauty & Spa were presented in Brighton on July 3.
