Confidence and lifestyle spa packages boom in UK

UK spas are taking the concept of lifestyle consultations a step further with large spa groups buying into a growing trend for spa packages focused on boosting clients’ confidence and body image.
Champneys has just launched a new package with spa consultant Tanya Wheway. In addition to fitness, skin and nutrition advice, The Fab@50+ package includes lectures and workshops on positive mental attitude and relationship management, as well as one entitled How to Hang Loose and have Fun; and another called The What, When and How – what do we want and how are we going to get it?
The spa group has also devised a Girls Just Want to Have Fun package designed to boost women’s self-confidence through classes such as burlesque and belly dancing as well as a workshop with a style advisor.
Meanwhile, spa chain Imagine has developed a new package called Dream On, with the tagline “it’s all about you”. The day package involves body mapping with advice on how to dress for your body shape, plus colour analysis and advice on make-up for confidence.
