Durham’s Ramside Hall Hotel to open spa by summer 2015
Durham hotel Ramside Hall will open a 12-treatment room spa in the spring, as part of a major development of the hotel and its facilities following a £16m investment.
The spa will offer a rasul mud chamber as well as various saunas and steam rooms, plus a hydrotherapy pool and 25m long pool. There will also be a gym and fitness studio, and an Asian spa restaurant
It will stock Espa as its skincare supplier for face and body treatments, and general manager for spa and leisure at the Ramside Hall Anthony Woodhouse said he thought the brand would be a perfect fit for the spa.
The spa is the result of a £16m investment in the hotel, which has also seen the development of 47 new guest rooms and an upgrade of its golf course.
Paula Perkins, director of spa development at Espa International, said, “The spa will bring a new level of facilities and services to hotel guests, day spa guests and the local community alike, and make Ramside Hall a true spa destination.”
