Elemis reveals retail store plans for 2015

Elemis will launch stand-alone retail stores and new training academies in 2015, as well as refit its Mayfair day spa, managing director Séan Harrington has revealed.

Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the British skincare brand, and Harrington has announced that the Day Spa will close its doors in January. It is due to reopen in the summer with a dedicated new retail space downstairs, which Harrington hopes will increase retail sales by as much as 50%, a grooming area and treatment rooms.

The new retail store concept, Harrington announced yesterday, will include treatment rooms, a men’s grooming area and retail counters. Sloane Square, Canary Warf, and Westfield have been earmarked as possible locations for London stores. “I can see us having 12, and the proposition planners have given me 24 possibilities,” said Harrington.

The first site however is likely to be in Hong Kong, as a location in the city has already been secured.
