Federation of Holistic Therapists award winners announced

The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) has unveiled the winners of this year’s Excellence in Practice Awards, which champion quality therapists in the holistic sector.

The association recognised four of its members with the Excellence in Practice Award. Geraldine Flynn received the award to recognise her remedial work with micropigmentation for alopecia and cancer sufferers. Donna Davis was chosen for her research into the benefits of peer massage in schools. Angela Green received the award for the training programme she developed for holistic therapists to improve their skills. Claire Owens was championed for her work in the Wirral implementing a relaxation and well-being programme to 15 schools in the area.

FHT also awarded Amanda Brooks, a kinesiology instructor who’s been in the industry some 18 years, with the title of Tutor of the Year.

Flynn (pictured) said that she was thrilled to receive the award. “It is important to me to highlight the remedial side of micropigmentation and the successful results that can be achieved for clients suffering with hair loss conditions,” she said.

This year marks the third annual FHT awards. The winners were announced at a dinner held on 13th November.
