Germaine de Capuccini launch new Timexpert C+ A.G.E.

Professional skincare line Germaine de Capuccini, are launching Timexpert C+ (A.G.E) - a unique formula which tackles the increasing problem of skin glycation, using a ground breaking combination of Vitamin C and UME extract together to inhibit and decompose the formation of A.G.E (Advanced Glycation End Products).

Glycation and AGEs - the science
Glycation occurs when an excess of glucose is combined with collagen and elastin fibres, which sets off the formation of the end products of advanced glycation (A.G.E. Advanced Glycation End Products). With age, the glycosylated proteins accumulate in the cells and destroy the support cushion of the skin formed by elastin and collagen. That is, glucose overlaps around the collagen and elastin fibres and with time they become rigid and can even break and lose their activity. Skin glycation damages collagen, reduces suppleness, forms wrinkles and alters the structure of the skin. As a consequence, it accelerates the process of skin ageing (flaccidity, darkspots, matt skin and lack of light).

Tackling glycation
The external signs of glycation surface around the age of 30 or 35. Therefore prevention is key throughout a person’s   twenties.

Germaine de Capuccini’s latest launch is the first professional anti-ageing treatment that has been specifically designed to counteract the negative effects of skin glycation, both at the dermal and epidermal level. Timexpert C + (A.G.E) has a unique new formula which combines the anti-aging power of vitamin C and the powerful anti-glycation ingredient- Ume Extract.  Following professional treatment the skin immediately recovers a spectacular youthfulness, appearing luminous, firm and redensified. Germaine de Capuccini will also be launching Timexpert C + (A.G.E) homecare products to support the professional treatment.
