Hilton to open 12th property in Japan

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is to open its 12th property in Japan, the Hilton Okinawa Kin. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2016 and will comprise 190 rooms.
The 12-storey property will also feature a spa, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, two restaurants and a bar. Other amenities will include meeting rooms, a business lounge, boardrooms and a ballroom.
Guy Phillips, vice president of development, Asia Pacific, for Hilton Worldwide, said: "Hilton Okinawa Kin will represents an opportunity to fly another Hilton flag in a key destination.”
Meanwhile, Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, commented: "The Hilton Okinawa Kin will continue our legacy in world-class hospitality alongside its sister properties in key cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka."
A further Hilton property, the 346-room Hilton Okinawa Chatan, will open in Okinawa next year.
