Hood explains the benefits of senior industry operators from around the world being able to come together to exchange inspiration, experiences and ideas, and other convention benefits.
The 2018 convention takes place at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London, as part of leading European trade show Professional Beauty.
Topics covered will include the impact of technology on the spa and wellness market; making wellness key to repeat business; building spa and wellness communities; and the rebirth of fitness in spa – all on Sunday, February 25.
Subjects addressed on day two, Monday, February 26 range from hyper-personalisation within the wellness sector and driving retail sales, to addressing the staffing crisis.
Among keynote sessions will be a conversation between Andrew Gibson, vice president, wellness, luxury brands at Accor Hotels and Six Senses chief executive Neil Jacobs – at 11.30am on Sunday the 25 of February.
Keynotes also include Marc Ellis', global head of the Miraval Group, session on what’s next for the company following its acquisition by Hyatt in 2017 – at 10.50am on Monday, February 26.
