Q Hair & Beauty salon receives Clarins Gold Salon status
Q Hair & Beauty salon in Chichester has been awarded Clarins Gold Salon status this month, as recognition by the skincare brand for its work and dedication to retailing the brand.
Dawn Lawrence, owner of Q Hair & Beauty, told Professional Beauty, “This has been a major feat for us, and a long time coming. We’ve put in a lot of work for it, and to finally be told that we got it was immense. We’re delighted.”
Lawrence said that reach Gold Salon status has taken her two and half years, during which time she has doubled the size of her beauty team, from two therapists to four, and grown retail sales of the Clarins brand in the salon through initiatives such as client events and added value packages.
“My four therapists have been through the whole journey with me,” Lawrence added. “This has been our goal. We’ve looked at what everybody else is doing and thought that we had to do something different.”
Four salons received Clarins Gold Salon status this month. As well as Q Hair & Beauty, the other salons awarded were Peppermint Beauty Salon in Ross-shire, Beauty at No 25 in East Dunbartonshire, and Doctor Boo in East Dulwich.
Clarins launched its Gold Salon scheme 19 years ago, and there are currently more than 80 salons in the UK with Gold Salon status.
