Starwood to open The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa

Starwood Hotels & Resorts is set to open The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa in Qatar at the end of the year. The hotel, which will be the hospitality group’s fourth property in the country, will comprise 365 rooms, including 92 executive rooms, five private bungalows and two presidential suites.
There will be a 10-treatment room Heavenly Spa by Westin at the hotel, with other leisure and wellness amenities including three pools and a Westin Workout fitness centre. The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa will also run the SuperFods Rx programme already in operation at many other Westin properties and focused on providing food rich in nutrients and antioxidants.
Among the five dining venues at the hotel will be an all-day dining restaurant, a Thai restaurant, a sports bar and a jazz bar serving cocktails. The hotel will also feature 2,900sq m of meeting and events space, including a ballroom and 10 meeting rooms.
