Trump Rio hotel scheduled for 2016

The Trump Collection has announced the opening of its first South American property, the Trump Rio in 2016.
Located in a district of the Barra da Tijuca borough, where the majority of events during the 2016 Summer Olympics will be held, the 13-storey hotel will comprise 171 guestrooms.
Donald Trump Jr, executive vice president of development and acquisitions at The Trump Organization, said: "This is an exciting time to develop our first project in South America and the perfect location to do so."
The 171 guestrooms will offer mountain or ocean views and include 11 suites. Ranging between 167sq m and 111sq m, the suites will feature private patio plunge pools.
Facilities at the hotel will include a 204sq m spa, a 185sq m fitness centre and 372sq m pool deck with VIP cabanas. The hotel will also have 929sq m of meeting and events space.
