Strong growth for ethnic personal care sector

The multicultural beauty products market is up 3.7% this year, according to market analyst the Kline group, a stronger growth than for the cosmetics and toiletries market as a whole. A key current trend in the sector is for companies that began as ethnic brands to branch out and also target the mainstream market. However, Kline advises such brands to be careful not to drive away their core clientele.
