Superdrug launches first in-store salon

High street beauty retailer Superdrug has launched its first Beauty Studio in-store salon in its Cardiff site. The store will offer express beauty services at a low cost, including manicures, threading, lash extensions and tinting.

Clients will also be able to buy products from various brands stocked by the retailer in the 3,600sq ft store. It also has a hair salon, Hairspace, with five stations offering treatments with a experienced stylists.

Matt Walburn, Superdrug’s marketing director, said, “This store is completely different to any Superdrug customers will have seen, it has a real focus on beauty services and products, it’s a place for treats and transformations.

The great thing about opening this in St David’s is that our existing Superdrug store will still be there in the centre for our customers who need to pick up their daily essentials as well.”
