The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage to open in May

The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage will open in Palm Springs on May 15. The 244-room property, which is now accepting bookings, will include a Ritz-Carlton Spa and two restaurants. 

The 2,300sq m spa features 15 treatment rooms, outdoor terrace space, an exercise studio, a gym and a salon. Taking a holistic approach, the spa concept incorporates nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and reflection. 

Inspired by the California landscape, the treatment menu includes the use of locally sourced herbs and plants. Among the signature treatments and services are the relaxing Hammock Massage, performed outdoors, the Rat Pack black diamond facial for men and the Omnia fitness programme from Technogym. 

The hotel’s two dining outlets is the State Fare Bar + Kitchen and the cliff-side The Edge, set to open in the autumn. The property also houses three swimming pools, a Ritz Kids centre and 1,486sq m of indoor and 1,394sq m of outdoor events space.
