Apex Hotels to open second spa in partnership with Pure Spa & Beauty

Apex Hotels has announced the opening of a new spa in September, as part of a £1.5 million development.

The spa, on which Apex is partnering with independent UK day spa group Pure Spa & Beauty is set to feature five treatment rooms. Facilities at the spa will include an infrared sauna, relaxation area, manicure and pedicure stations, spray tanning booth and retail space.

Treatments on offer will include massages, waxing and manicures and pedicures, with the spa partnering with leading British skincare brand Elemis.

The Pure Spa & Beauty team, which Apex is already partnered with on the spa at Apex Waterloo Place Hotel in Edinburgh, is currently recruiting for spa team members.

Available positions include spa manager, spa therapists and beauty therapists. Brian Tapson, general manager of Apex City of London Hotel, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing a new spa facility to the capital as part of our refurbishment.

“The spa running in partnership with PURE Spa & Beauty at Apex Waterloo Place Hotel in Edinburgh has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2016 and we’re hoping to emulate that success here in London.”

Pure Spa & Beauty founder Becky Woodhouse commented: “We’re looking forward to adding another spa to our existing seven across the UK, and are encouraging experienced spa managers and therapists, as well as beauty therapists, to get in touch about joining an award-winning team.”
