Trend one: blood red lip

One of the most striking looks for autumn/winter 17 is the updated red lip – with darker and more vampy hues applied in a slightly dishevelled manner. 

Anushka Patel, brand manager for mineral make-up brand Jane Iredale, shows us how to do a softer take on this season’s updated blood red lip and explains why you need to do the look bit by bit.

 

Trend two: “no make-up” make-up with pushed up brows

Barely-there make-up continues to grow in popularity and is now giving a nod to the athleisure beauty trend with its reinvented look for AW17 – modern nude with pushed up brows.

Trend three: winter brights

Candy-coloured eye make-up is set to be big this winter. The AW17 catwalks were awash with models rocking bright hues traditionally worn in spring/summer but paired with a flawless base and neutral lips to keep the look balanced.
