Center Parcs to open first spa in Ireland
The first Center Parcs Aqua Sana Spa in Ireland is being billed as a “sensory escape in the heart of the forest”.
The 2,500sq m spa will be part of the Center Parcs Longford Forest holiday village development. It will feature 14 treatment rooms and 23 “unique spa experiences”, details of which are yet to be revealed.
According to Center Parcs, Aqua Sana Longford Forest is set to be Ireland’s largest stand alone spa. The holiday village itself will offer four different styles of accommodation, up to 100 activities and 10 restaurants, in 400 acres of nature.
The spa, which cost €10m to develop, will use Irish seaweed-based spa brand Voya and British skincare brand Elemis as its main product houses for treatments.
Center Parcs Longford Forest will open later this year, marking the group’s sixth site and first outside of the UK.
Aqua Sana group spa manager Kay Pennington said: “We are really excited to be introducing Aqua Sana to Ireland in 2019 and welcoming guests to our unique, luxury forest retreat.
"We are thrilled to announce Voya and Elemis as the Aqua Sana spa suppliers for Center Parcs Longford Forest. Aqua Sana will offer a variety of treatments and we know that Voya and Elemis are the ideal beauty brands to provide our guests with the best possible spa experience.”
Sue Goddard, group spa director of Center Parcs UK, will take part in the resort spas portion of the "Ramping up a successful opening" Situation Room at the WSW Convention in London on February 24-25. Book your delegate pass here.
