Champneys opening first cruise liner spa on the Marella Explorer in 2018
Champneys is opening its first ever “spa on the sea” in May 2018 after announcing an exclusive partnership with Marella Cruises.
The health spa group’s state-of-the-art onboard spa will open on the Marella Explorer and feature a salon, wellness centre and relaxation rooms with beds that boast stunning panoramic views, as well as a treatment menu that includes facials, body wraps, massages, manicures and acupuncture.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Marella Cruises from next year, offering the very best Champneys spa experience onboard the Marella Explorer. We’re confident that our state-of-the-art spa will bring even more enjoyment to guests’ holidays and can’t wait to hear about their experiences,” said Stephen Purdew, Champneys co-owner.
Helen Caron, distribution and cruise director at TUI UK & Ireland, the parent company of Marella Cruises, added: “We’re proud to be known for the friendliest service at sea and Champneys’ world-class service really mirrors this.
“Our ships offer holidaymakers a relaxing home from home that they can return to following a full day of exploring a destination and this new introduction onboard the Marella Explorer will ensure they can fully unwind in luxury.”
Marella Cruises is the UK’s third largest cruise line and the Marella Explorer is its biggest ship yet, offering bars, ice-cream parlours, lounges, 10 dining venues and more.
