Ellipse gains EC approval for photo-rejuvenation

Ellipse has gained CE-approved for the use of its IPL equipment in dermatological light exposure treatments.

The legislative authorisation coincides with Ellipse’s launch of the new PL+ applicator for pain-free, enhanced photo rejuvenation and the treatment of acne.

Designed for use with the existing I2PL+ and Multiflex+ equipment, the applicator covers all five protoporphyrin peaks and is suitable for use on suntanned skin.  Based on the "pay-per-shot" principle, the technology offers known running costs, and is shaped for an unobstructed view of the treatment area.

Ellipse has also announced that from November 1, the UK office will have a new address and contact details:

Suite 1a & 2a
Elsinore House
77 Fulham Palace Road
W6 8JA
020 8741 1111
