Gisborough Hall Hotel to build woodland spa

Gisborough Hall Hotel in Guisborough near Middlesbrough, has announced plans to build a woodland spa on the property.
Due to open at the end of 2018, work on the spa, which will replace the Revival Zone spa currently on site, is set to begin early next year.
Plans include an 18-meter indoor pool, outdoor hydro-pool, a variety of heat experiences, nine treatment rooms and relaxation space.
The spa will also house a gym and fitness studio and will offer a range of membership packages and spa days. The hotel’s management team said they aim to create 38 full-time and 28 part-time jobs with the creation of the new spa.
Kim Yardley, general manager of Gisborough Hall, said: “Our Revival Zone spa has always been popular but it’s just not big enough for the demand that we have. What’s more, we’re now in a position to build on our current offer and make both Gisborough Hall and the surrounding area an international destination for business and leisure.
“Our woodland spa setting will overlook the beautiful Cleveland Hills in a secluded yet easily reached location. Our aim is to offer our local community and guests from all over the world a different spa experience and we hope to be open by next Christmas.”
The 15-year-old family-owned hotel became fully independent for the first time since opening earlier this year.
