Grand Hyatt Taipei opens spa
Grand Hyatt Taipei is opening a spa to tie in with its 26th anniversary.
The new Oasis Spa, the first ever for the hotel, features three treatment rooms, including couples’ suite, as well as sauna, steam room and thermal bath facilities.
There is also a cold plunge pool and separate relaxation areas for men and women.
The spa, which has been designed to blend in with the Taiwanese décor at the recently refurbished hotel, features natural elements, including grey slate stones.
Overlooking a rock garden, the spa blends Eastern wellness traditions with European spa brands and treatments.
The Oasis Spa menu includes facials, massages and body scrubs and wraps, among other options. There is also a selection of two and three-hour signature journeys: Revive, Heal, Renew and Calm.
The latter is a 180-minute treatment that incorporates a detoxing mud wrap for the body, a Swedish massage and a mud face mask to lift, firm and hydrate.
The spa is working with US skincare brand Kerstin Florian.
