Grayshott Spa launching a medical clinic which offers wellness programmes alongside GP services
Grayshott Medical Spa in Surrey is launching a medical clinic this month in a bid to strengthen its medical wellness presence in the UK.
The clinic, which will be under the supervision of medical director Dr Ursula Levine, has been created to support the spa’s current programme of natural health and wellbeing with the support of a range of GP services.
It will offer a full range of independent healthcare services including private consultations, physical examinations, health assessments, prescribing of medicines and referrals to other healthcare specialists, following Grayshott’s recent Care Quality Commission registration.
“I’m thrilled to announce the introduction of our new medical services” said general manager Sheila McCann. “The new offering reaffirms our commitment to the medical approach to holistic wellbeing and will continue to ensure our guests receive the utmost care and attention, and depart with a range of tools to assist them on their journey to their best health.”
Levine will be bringing a wealth of experience to the role, with more than 30 years of clinical experience under her belt. She is trained in F.X. Mayr Medicine, HeartMath coaching and various traditional Chinese therapies alongside her general practice qualifications.
“I’m delighted to be at the helm of the new medical clinic. We have the support of a skilled and enthusiastic team from a range of different disciplines and I truly believe we can deliver a service that will see our guests leaving with a renewed sense of wellbeing in the long term,” commented Levine.
The renowned UK destination spa – formerly known as Grayshott Health Spa – was bought by joint owners spa-style medical institution The Lanserhof Group and private real estate company London and Regional properties in 2017.
Lanserhof is known for its focus on medical wellness and has recently opened its first medical gym in London, which is also managed by McCann.
