Flint + Flint owner opens training academy in Manchester

A new beauty and aesthetics training academy has opened in Manchester.
Angel Campus is the brainchild of Iveta Mockute, former operations manager of Skin Health Spa and Adam Flint, managing director of skincare brand and sister skincare chain to Skin Health Spa, Flint + Flint.
The three-storey townhouse in Manchester city centre has space kitted out for treatment training with seven couches, plus a boardroom, private meeting rooms and co-working space.
Courses will be taught by therapists and other employees from Skin Health Spa and Flint + Flint clinics, and include manicure and gel polish, semi-permanent lash extensions, massage, waxing, dermaplaning and make-up; and aesthetic procedures such as microneedling and laser hair removal.
Training rooms can also be rented out by the day for private teaching or meetings and interviews. Business courses will launch in September.
Single and membership-based programmes include course materials, online webinars and a helpline for all enquires including complications management and business operations queries.
Membership also offers access to the Angel Campus Buyers Club, a list of “tried and tested” suppliers who give preferential rates to the academy’s clients for their beauty businesses.
"Throughout the years of running clinics, we found that there were very little support from suppliers, knowledge sharing with peers and general training into how to run a successful, profitable and safe aesthetic business. That’s when we decided to launch Angel Campus," said Angel Campus managing director Iveta Mockute.
