InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort introduces mindfulness programme
The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Vietnam is launching a mindfulness programme at its Harnn Heritage Spa this month.
The new mindfulness wellness programme can be booked for three, five or seven days and begins with a consultation to determine which element the client is according to ancient Chinese medicine: earth, fire, water, metal or wood.
Treatments on the programme includes the De-Stress Herbal Compress massage to reduce tension and get rid of lactic acid and the Body Cleanse Hammam charcoal and locally grown black rice.
Meditation and yoga classes also form part of the programme, as do foot treatments by renowned pedicurist Bastien Gonzalesz, whose Pedi:Mani:Cure studio is part of the spa.
Food on the programme will be based around the concept of clean eating, incorporating local Vietnamese produce such as oysters, red crab, green mango and banana blossom.
Clients on the programme will stay in one of the hotel’s Spa Lagoon Villas, each featuring an outdoor whirlpool and their own sauna, steam room, yoga terrace, stone bath, outdoor shower and in-villa treatment room.
