Jumeirah to manage renowned Italian wellness destination
Jumeirah has been appointed to operate and manage the acclaimed, luxury Capri Palace resort in Italy, which will re-open in April 2020.
Capri Palace is already revered as a wellness destination, with the exclusive Capri Beauty Farm medispa enjoying a loyal international following.
Under the direction of Professor Francesco Canonaco, the world class-medical spa facility offers highly specialised signature treatments including the Rational Nutrition Metabolic Response programme – which has won acclaim the world over.
Developed in collaboration with the University of Milan, and based on medical and scientific principles, the exclusive programme involves clinical testing for the assessment of basal metabolic rate and body mass.
The goal is to obtain correct and effective weight loss through a combination of a nutritional regime, high tech solution treatments aimed to accelerate body’s metabolism, and a personalised physical activity programme.
Capri Beauty Farm is set among the beautiful hotel grounds in an idyllic location in bustling Anacapri.
Designed in the style of an eighteenth-century Neapolitan palazzo, the hotel, which was founded by Tonino Cacace, stands high up on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
Under Jumeirah’s direction, the property is set to continue to go from strength to strength with exciting upgrades and refurbishments in the pipeline.
José Silva, chief executive of Jumeirah Group, commented: “We are proud and excited to welcome Capri Palace, Jumeirah into our portfolio.
“It is one of Europe’s most recognised and well-respected hotels, with a global reputation and following.
Capri Palace, Jumeirah embodies our brand values of providing excellent service, unrivalled culinary experiences and inspiring design, and joins our existing collection of European properties in London, Mallorca and Frankfurt.”
In other spa news, Six Sense has just announced its UK debut in London.
