Luxury hotel with 2,000sq m spa to open in the UK next summer
A new UK luxury hotel, The Langley, is set to open in the summer of 2018, complete with a 2,322sq m spa.
The Langley, part of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection of hotels, will be a 41-room hotel situated on 500 acres of land in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
The result of a multimillion-pound conversion, the hotel will occupy two historic buildings; a Grade-II listed mansion that was formerly the hunting lodge of the Duke of Marlborough, and the 18th century The Brewhouse, previously used as stables and a brewery.
The spa will comprise eight treatment rooms, a VIP treatments suite and a women’s-only thermal area, among other facilities. The wellness element at The Langley will also include a fitness centre in partnership with high profile personal trainer Matt Roberts.
The gym will not only include the latest fitness equipment, but also a cryotherapy centre. Roberts has also developed a range of training sessions specifically for The Langley, with classes that will use the hotel’s vast grounds and landscaped gardens.
Among other hotel amenities will be a signature restaurant, a bar and a drawing room in which afternoon tea is served.
Jenni Benzaquen, vice president, luxury brands, Europe for Marriott International, said: “Following the meticulous restoration of this beautiful estate, The Langley is set to be a stunning addition to the Luxury Collection portfolio.”
The Luxury Collection comprises more than 100 leading hotels and resorts in over 30 countries and territories around the world.
