Mandara Spa to open in St Petersburg in 2017

Mandara Spa has signed an agreement to operate a spa at the new Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg, scheduled to open next year.

The five-star Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg, anticipated to open mid-2017, will among other facilities feature a 400sq m Mandara Spa. The spa will comprise three single treatment rooms and couples’ suite with private steam shower and hydrobath facilities.

The spa, which will be Asian-inspired but incorporate elements of Russian style, will also house a swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre.

The treatment menu will blend Mandara signature treatments and rituals with facials and body treatments drawn from the European spa tradition.

Leonard Fluxman, president and chief executive of Steiner Leisure, the parent company of Mandara Spa Asia, said:

“We are excited to pursue our second spa endeavour in Russia and look forward to welcoming visitors of historic St Petersburg to enjoy the singular experience of Mandara Spa.”

Mandara Spa, established in Bali in 1995, has 42 spa locations around the world, including two on cruise ships.

Korean group Lotte Hotels & Resorts currently operates hotels in Vietnam, Korea, Uzbekistan, the US, and Russia. Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg will be the hotel group’s second property in the country, after the existing Lotte Hotel Moscow.
